Taraba state senator Danladi sacked, ordered to return all salaries collected

The Supreme Court has sacked Senator representing Taraba North, Abubakar Danladi.
In its ruling on Friday, the apex court also ordered the lawmaker to return all salaries he had collected before his sack.
This is coming at a time the apex court also sacked member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Vandikya/ Konshisha constituency, Honorable Herman Hembe.
The Court had declared the seat of the lawmaker vacant and ruled that Mrs. Dorathy Mato who won All Progressives Congress (APC) party ticket for the constituency is the rightful candidate

Wizkid fights at lagos club

Barely hours after Star Boy Wizkid returned to Nigeria, he's back in the news.. The singer got into a fight with a fan at a night club in Lagos, hours after arriving Nigeria. According to witnesses who claimed to have been at the scene, trouble started when a fan walked over to take a photo with the singer and Wizkid, was not okay with it, leading to an altercation. From the video, Wizkid, is seen sitting on a chair with a female, and in the next scene, he is being pulled away from a cluster of people. It is unclear who started the alleged fight and if anyone was hurt. Wizkid is a lot of things to different people. To some, he is a wonderful musician, to others he is an amazing father of two but a recent video has introduced us to a different side of him. Six countries have demanded FIFA strip Qatar of the 2022 World Cup. The nations, who have cut diplomatic ties with the Gulf state last month, also threatened a boycott. They are: Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Mauritania, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt. Their request was confirmed by FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, according to Reuters. “The countries warned FIFA of the risks threatening fan and player security in a country that is ‘the base and the castle of terrorism,'” Infantino is quoted as saying. Infantino said the the countries cited Article 85 of the FIFA Code, that allows changes to be made to World Cup hosts in case of emergency. The world football governing body said in June amid the diplomatic crisis, that it remains in “regular contact with Qatar.”
